A mixed media color challenge 8: groen, paars en grijs

This is my entry for A mixed media color challenge. The color combo this time is: light green, lavender and gray.

Mondriaan

Nog een pagina gemaakt in mijn 'art journal' (het is een Moleskine agenda).
Opnieuw geïnspireerd door Mondriaan (compositie nr. 11). Ik heb voegband en gesso gebruikt om wat structuur aan te brengen. En weer geverfd met boterhamzakjes. Weet nog niet of deze pagina 'af' is, maar voor nu laat ik het zo. 

Another page in my 'art journal' (it's a Moleskine daily planner). Again inspired by Mondriaan (compositie nr. 11). I used gesso and something that you put on the seam of a plasterboard (don't know what it's called). I painted the background with plastic bags. I'm not sure if it's finished but I leave it like this for now.

Landslide

Gisteren heb ik een pagina gemaakt voor de zevende challenge van A mixed media color challenge. Ik wil de eerste zes kleurencombinaties ook nog proberen te maken. De kleurencombinatie van de zesde challenge is lichtroze, donkerroze en grijs. Hillie stuurde mij een linkje van een filmpje van Karin Joan (verfen met boterhamzakjes) en geïnspireerd door haar filmpje en haar layout ben ik aan de slag gegaan. Het nummer Landslide ken ik van Venice, vorig jaar kwam ik erachter dat dit een nummer is van Fleetwood Mac.

A mixed media color challenge 7: orange, yellow and brown

This is my entry for A mixed mediacolor challenge. The colors are yellow, orange and brown. I don't really like yellow and orange (although I like Distres inkt wild honey), so this was a real challenge. I played with gesso, Distress paint, stains and ink, acrylic paint, dictionary pages (the words leaf and autumn) and stencils. This is the first page in a journal that I finished.

CASology week 58: Paper

I made this card for the Hero Arts Flickr group scramble. You get a theme and 90 minutes to create. The theme this time was to make a masculine card and use the colours of our favourite sports team. I went for black and white. The colours of my sports team. Janet left me a comment on flickr about the challenge at CASology, the theme this week is paper.

Art Journey challenge 36: Blauw en groen

Toen ik zaterdagnacht wakker lag (jetlag) had ik een idee voor een kaartje voor de Art Journey Challenge. Een achtergrond met woordenboek, servetten, bingokaarten (als ik die zou kunnen vinden, liggen ergens op zolder), met Distress paint, gesso, Distress stain picket fence.
En dit is het geworden.

Geen woordenboek, verf, of gesso. Heb wel wat geprobeerd, maar dat is niet geworden wat ik had bedacht (wel een groene bingokaart gevonden en niet eens op zolder geweest).

Deze kaart heb ik in een boekje geplakt om zelf te houden.
